Japanese fabric shears, made by Kiya (since 1792).
Kiya is a knife and blade specialist in Japan since the Edo period, making the highest quality tools for craftsmen in traditional Japanese arts. These fabric shears are the only pair you will need as long as they are cared for with love and respect. Solid enough to cut through multiple layers of denim, and sharp enough to meticulously cut precision lace appliqué. Multipurpose use for any fabrics, but I would recommend using one type of scissors for each separate weight of fabric. One pair for denim and heavy weights, one for lace, silks, and lightweights.
Very limited quantities available, these were brought back from my last trip to Japan.
Blade Length: 24cm (approx. 9.45")
